About This Spot

Arriving at Samoa Café del Puerto, you’re instantly embraced by a calm, inviting rhythm that seems perfectly in tune with the gentle ebb of Alicante’s marina. This is a spot where time slows just enough to savor the simple pleasure of watching boats drift by and the warm Levante breeze tease the edge of conversation. The space feels open and thoughtfully arranged—plenty of room to settle in comfortably, whether you come alone to recharge or with friends to share in quiet moments.

There’s a natural ease here, a welcoming pause between the lively hum of the city and the slow pulse of the sea. It invites you to linger over a well-crafted cocktail, perhaps a mojito or an Aperol Spritz, each sip playing off the soft clinking of glasses and the distant maritime view. The menu offers just enough to satisfy without overwhelming, featuring light bites that complement the drinks and the atmosphere—a perfect balance for a leisurely afternoon or early evening.

What stands out is the genuine warmth from the team, attentive without rushing, creating a space where you feel known and relaxed. It’s easy to imagine locals slipping in for a familiar face and tourists discovering it as a quiet harbor away from the buzz. The outdoor seating, tiered for unobstructed views, makes the most of the sunshine and the bay’s quiet spectacles, turning people-watching into its own subtle entertainment.

Samoa Café del Puerto is not about grand gestures but rather about a steady, welcoming presence where flavor and place meet with honesty. It’s a reminder that some of the best experiences come not from loud declarations but from gentle invitations—to taste, to rest, and to soak in the moment by Alicante’s shimmering waters.

My first impression of this place was positive because we were met by a friendly girl who helped us find a suitable table. The waiter came quickly, and our order (just drinks) was prepared fast as well. The cocktails were delicious. There is plenty of space and many tables for different groups. The atmosphere is peaceful and calm, perfectly matching the nice view. But I was truly stunned when the hostess told me that if I wanted to charge my phone, I would have to rent a power bank — not for free, but for a fee. For me, that was strange, because I wasn’t just someone walking by to charge a phone, I was their customer.

Lovely bar cocktails were lovely. This place is very popular so they is always a Que of people waiting around. We didn’t wait but we seated and could feel the eyes in the back of head watching us sip our drinks.

Such an amazing atmosphere especially with the sitting outside next to the sea with a view. Definitely order their mojito and a sandwich with ham!! The food and drinks were really great but it is definitely a place for a light lunch and good cocktails.

It was my first time in Alicante, and the bar by the water was amazing. The cocktails were creative and fun. If you're a whiskey lover like me, look for Willie Walker or Belvedere — both were excellent. The nachos were incredible too, making them a perfect starter alongside the drinks. Enjoy your time at this wonderful spot — I’ll definitely be back!

Wait to be seated, settle in , look through the QR coded menu and enjoy people watching. The outdoor setting is tiered for unobstructed view of marina and surrounding streets. Plenty of sunshine, coffee and a libations. Great staff. Enjoy!

Great service, good drinks & cocktails, nice view, you can enjoy the sun a long time, ….. realy worth the visit. It can get busy and have to wait in line for a table. We got lucky and had a superb seating. Hostess Ariana was super friendly and our waiter was great!

Very relaxing spot overlooking the port. Definitely a bit on the higher class side, although not as expensive as I expected. Small staff, but I was well taken care of. Neat trick with the QR code menu on the back of the coasters.

Amazing little bar, with beautiful view of the Marina. Drinks were less expensive than anticipated, especially as the bar could definitely be considered a classy spot. Cocktails ranged from around 10-12€, which were presented and garnished excellently. We did not dine here, however got a sharing plate of a tapas dish to enjoy which was delicious. We were served by a young woman, who was extremely friendly and spoke very good English, making us feel comfortable and welcome. We have visited twice and will be back!
